Learn how to batch rename clips automatically in DaVinci Resolve 17 with this tutorial that uses metadata recorded in-camera or added in the Media Page of DaVinci Resolve. Use metadata variables to populate new clip names visible on the timeline for easier organization and tracking of what take a shot is during your video editing session. Re-naming is flexible because it updates automatically with new metadata and you can still show original filenames on the timeline if needed with the click of a menu in Resolve.
